Dr. Tobias Weidner

Tobias Weidner, Dr. phil., historian, has been head of the Information and Documentation Centre for Ethics in Medicine (IDEM) since November 2020. Prior to this, he was a research fellow at the Department of Modern History at Georg-August University of Göttingen and at the Chair of 20th-Century European History at the Humboldt University of Berlin. He obtained his PhD from the University of Bielefeld in 2011. His current research focuses on the history of ethical discourses in medicine and political and social concepts in medicine.
